Questions, answered
Why don't I see all images from a page?+
The extension only shows images with HTTP/HTTPS URLs. Data URIs, blob URLs, and base64-encoded images are excluded for better usability.
Can I download images directly?+
Yes. Hover any image card and click the download icon - the image is saved straight to your Downloads folder using its original filename. No new tab, no right-click.
Can I copy the image itself instead of its URL?+
Yes. The copy-image action puts the actual picture on your clipboard as a PNG, so you can paste it straight into Figma, Slides, Word, or any chat app. The separate link icon still copies just the URL. A handful of images are locked down by their host and can't be read - for those you'll see a short “✗ Can't copy this image” notice, and download or open still works.
Is my data collected or stored?+
No. The extension runs entirely locally in your browser. No data is collected, stored, or transmitted to any server.
Does it work on every website?+
It works on most regular webpages. Browser-internal pages such
as chrome:// and extension pages can't be accessed
for security reasons.
The extension isn't showing images - what now?+
Make sure you're on a regular webpage (not a Chrome internal page), then click Refresh or reload the page so dynamically-loaded images appear.
